The Devil, The Lovers, The Magician, Ace of Wands, Six of Wands
1 The Devil : You are feeling a bit ashamed of past attitudes and behaviours – perhaps you haven’t approached projects or relationships the way you’d have liked and wish you had done them better. Don’t spend time thinking too much about the past – it is done – the cards are showing that there is new potential in the coming month to make changes for the better.

4 Ace of Wands: There is plenty of desire and energy in you right now for a whole new attitude to anything you are faced with. Focus on what it is that you do well, or what it is that people like about you, and use that to your advantage.
5 Six of Wands: You have many things to feel very proud of, despite the card in position 1. The Six of Wands indicate a real break through in success in July, make sure the effort you have put in to achieve this success continues so that you can move on to greater heights.
Taurus (April 20 – May 20)
Reading the cards from left to right, this is what was asked:
1 Something from the past that’s coming into play now. 2 Theme of the month ahead. 3 State of key relationships. 4 Where focus should be applied. 5 Key advice.
Eight of Swords, Two of Cups, Four of Wands, Ten of Cups, Eight of Pentacles
1 Eight of Swords: A difficult situation has been allowed to build up over a period of time and, if it continues, it is just going to get worse. The problem needs to be faced and dealt with. Although someone is likely to be hurt as the truth comes out, it is better faced and sorted so that healing for all parties, including yourself, can begin.
2 Two of Cups: A tangible move forward in a relationship. These are early days and it feels good and the signs are positive. Any relationship needs nurturing so some effort will be needed for it to blossom.
3 Four of Wands: This card represents an achievement. As this position represents the state of key relationships it suggests that you have done very well to get this relationship to the place where it is. Learning from the past can always help our future decisions, so put what you have learnt from painful relationships into this new one.
4 Ten of Cups: It seems that whatever relationship you are in at the moment is one which you would do well to really put your heart and soul into. The Ten of Cups represents success in a relationship but don’t take it for granted…… nurture it if you wish it to prosper.
5 Eight of Pentacles: This card indicates success after endeavour. If you continue to put the same amount of effort into all key areas of your life then the rewards will be there for the taking.
Gemini (May 21 – June 20)
Reading the cards from left to right, this is what was asked:
1 Something from the past that’s coming into play now. 2 Theme of the month ahead. 3 State of key relationships. 4 Where focus should be applied. 5 Key advice.
Knight of Wands, The Sun, Five of Wands, Queen of Wands, The Devil
1 Knight of Wands: In the past it is likely that lack of commitment and too much spontaneity has prevented you from knuckling down to a project or idea and seeing it through. If you are faced with a new idea, this is an opportunity to make sure it is done with proper care, attention and determination……there is success to be had if you do.
2 The Sun: The coming month should bring you lots of happiness and gratitude for your present situation. It is also a time where The Sun shines on everything you do. Make the most of it and put your skills to good use.
3 Five of Wands: It feels like there are many constraints and hurdles in your relationships right now and it’s hard to find the time to be all things to all people. In fact, you are able to take the reins in this situation and make decisions who to nurture and who can wait. It’s time to prioritise the special people.
4 Queen of Wands: This Queen can turn her hand to anything and do it well. Focus on what or who you feel is important and put your all into it……this way you will get the rewards you seek.
5 The Devil: This card represents feeling ashamed of yourself for some reason but, the truth is, anyone can change attitudes or behaviours for the better at any time. Only you can make the decision to free yourself and start anew. Each day brings the opportunity to do things differently. It is down to you.
Cancer (June 21 – July 22)
Reading the cards from left to right, this is what was asked:
1 Something from the past that’s coming into play now. 2 Theme of the month ahead. 3 State of key relationships. 4 Where focus should be applied. 5 Key advice.
Six of Cups, Five of Wands, Five of Cups, Page of Cups, King of Pentacles
1 Six of Cups: You are reflecting on an old relationship and wishing you could have it back. Depending on your current situation it may actually be possible, however, make sure that you do not get back into a relationship without carefully considering the past and how it truly was. In other words, take off the rose-tinted spectacles.
2 Five of Wands: You feel that there are just too many constraints and hurdles to do what you want to do. It is very easy to focus on the negative and spend too much time worrying about it, rather than using that time to overcome the difficulties. Don’t let the obstacles block what you want to do.
3 Five of Cups: Relationships are not great at the moment. You may be feeling that there is no way forward and that it’s all over. In fact, there is always a chance to make things good. There are always opportunities for forgiveness on both sides. If you are sad because you want it to work then make the first move and see what you can repair.
4 Page of Cups: There is a genuine desire for this relationship to work. It may be that some childish behaviour has contributed to the stagnation of this relationship. If there are issues from past relationships stopping you from fully engaging, then you need to look at them, learn from them and leave them in the past.
5 King of Pentacles: This card may be advising you to work a little more diligently at key relationships. The King works methodically to achieve success and doesn’t take risks, he is also steady and kind. Maybe these are the attributes you need to focus on to make positive changes in this relationship.
Leo (July 23 – August 22)
Reading the cards from left to right, this is what was asked:
1 Something from the past that’s coming into play now. 2 Theme of the month ahead. 3 State of key relationships. 4 Where focus should be applied. 5 Key advice.
Two of Swords, Six of Wands, The Moon, Strength, The Magician
1 Two of Swords: The worry and tension that avoiding conflict causes is probably more damaging than dealing with the issues at hand. Sometimes it is much better to face a problem and deal with it head on. Treating a wound stings at first, but it is the only way it is going to get better. Avoiding dealing with it will only encourage it to fester.
2 Six of Wands: This is a card of celebration for a job well done this month! By dealing with problems and working to sort them out you have come far. It is an exciting time and you are where you want to be right now.
3 The Moon: Things may not seem clear in a relationship at the moment. There may be confusion and uncertainty; however, using intuition as well as logic you should be able to decide what to pursue and what to leave alone. It may be that there are people you don’t trust and those that you do. Use your experience to decide who and what you can trust. Otherwise wait to see how things play out.
4 Strength: The very card for Leo itself! Focus, this month, on your strengths. This card represents being strong in the kindest way. Strength comes in many forms so try not to be domineering or arrogant – there is great strength and durability in honesty, kindness and patience.
5 The Magician: You have many skills and you are facing brand new territory. You have everything you need to make a success of whatever is in store for you next. Bringing all your great qualities together to this task will ensure a bright new future.
Virgo (August 24 – September 22)
Reading the cards from left to right, this is what was asked:
1 Something from the past that’s coming into play now. 2 Theme of the month ahead. 3 State of key relationships. 4 Where focus should be applied. 5 Key advice.
Knight of Wands, The Hierophant, Four of Pentacles, Ten of Swords, Four of Swords
1 Knight of Wands: If you or someone in your life has demonstrated that spontaneity and impetuosity has not helped you, then it is time to make sure that commitment to current issues is of key importance. The Knight of Wands is always ready to up and go for the next exciting project, that is all well and good in certain situations but right now focus is needed.
2 The Hierophant: This card suggests that you are developing a new attitude to previous beliefs you have held. You may need to seek out a knowledgeable person who can guide you in what you are considering. It may be your current religious beliefs are changing. Whatever help you seek, make sure you understand fully the ins and outs of it. Do not just accept anything as the given truth. Research and learn.
3 Four of Pentacles: Whilst you are very proud of what you have achieved in your relationships till now, it is not good to stagnate. You feel that you may need to make some changes but are afraid of taking risks. Sometimes it is necessary to try something new but, as always, we can limit the damage by research and gaining knowledge of what we are aiming for.
4 Ten of Swords: You may feel that you are struggling to accept the truth of a situation. You understand that you are not happy with the way things are in a given situation and that you know it needs to end. By accepting that and making the changes, you will be able to look forward to new horizons and, as each day passes, life will become a little easier.
5 Four of Swords: This card is about recuperation and healing after a difficult time. Once out of a difficult situation, we can examine the past to see what went wrong and why. This way we can learn from our mistakes but we also begin to understand that we can overcome hurdles and move on to better things. It is time for some quiet rest and healing.
Libra ( September 23 – October 22)
Reading the cards from left to right, this is what was asked:
1 Something from the past that’s coming into play now. 2 Theme of the month ahead. 3 State of key relationships. 4 Where focus should be applied. 5 Key advice.
Nine of Pentacles, Judgement, Page of Wands, Seven of Cups, The Sun
1 Nine of Pentacles: A lot of hard work has culminated in you being in an excellent position financially or materially. You should be proud of yourself. Keep up the good work.
2 Judgement: People will judge us regardless of who we are or what we are doing and to some extent there is little we can do about it. However, we can judge our own behaviours too and make sure we always act with honesty and kindness…..this in itself should minimise the criticisms of others and we feel safe in the knowledge we have done our best.
3 Page of Wands: This could indicate a new relationship or a change of direction in a key relationship. It may be fairly daunting to think you are challenged with a new path and taking advice might help. If people seem critical try not to be offended but work out whether what they are saying can be of constructive help.
4 Seven of Cups: This card is representing a difficult decision about a relationship even though it is quite a positive card. So, whilst the signs are good, it is a nudge to be careful and thoughtful about what is right, realistic and feasible for you. Using past experience you should be able to make some decisions as to whether this relationship is right for you or not.
5 The Sun: This card is saying that at the moment pretty much everything you do is likely to go well. Since life always has its ups and downs, it is very important that you appreciate all the wonderful things you have in your life right now.
Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)
Reading the cards from left to right, this is what was asked:
1 Something from the past that’s coming into play now. 2 Theme of the month ahead. 3 State of key relationships. 4 Where focus should be applied. 5 Key advice.
The Tower, Two of Pentacles, King of Wands, Two of Wands, The Devil
1 The Tower: You may have just come out of a bad time where things that you were used to are no longer there. Whilst this is so difficult, try to understand that now is the time to rebuild your life in a bigger, better way to exceed what has gone before. Don’t lose faith in yourself, you can do it.
2 Two of Pentacles: A real sign of better things to come! With a little hard work and patience this beginning can grow into something very tangible and rewarding for you. Accept any help offered to you.
3 King of Wands: This card represents someone with leadership skills who is happiest when facing a challenge. This could be you or it might be you need to embrace his skills of passion, drive and determination. It could even be someone you can turn to for help. Either way with these qualities behind you, success will not be far away.
4 Two of Wands: You should focus on any new ideas or relationships that come into your life. Learn from past experience how things went wrong and make the changes for better now that you have a new opportunity.
5 The Devil: This card represents shameful feelings. Whatever you think you have done wrong is now in the past, however, it is up to you to either make it right or learn from that lesson so it doesn’t happen again. The Devil can only control our thoughts and feelings if we let him. Take control of the situation.
Sagittarius ( November 22 – December 21)
Reading the cards from left to right, this is what was asked:
1 Something from the past that’s coming into play now. 2 Theme of the month ahead. 3 State of key relationships. 4 Where focus should be applied. 5 Key advice.
The Fool, Seven of Cups, Three of Cups, Nine of Wands, Knight of Swords
1 The Fool: No matter what has happened in the past, there can always be a new start with a new approach and hopefully new and better endings. The Fool nudges us to look out for pitfalls which we can miss in the excitement of a new beginning. Enjoy this time but keep your wits about you.
2 Seven of Cups: This card is a positive card but it indicates that you have a difficult choice to make. Whatever decision you come to, it should be based on what your needs are, and whether it is a realistic and feasible option for you, so think carefully.
3 Three of Cups: A key relationship has got to a stage of real celebration, perhaps after a rocky start, but it now has a good foundation and the signs are positive for moving forward with it. All relationships need input and nurturing from both sides, so make sure this relationship is equally good for those involved.
4 Nine of Wands: You feel like you have worked so hard you don’t believe you can go any further. You are almost there – imagine you are in a race and digging deep to sprint for the line rather than slowing down as you get to the tape. You are so close to achieving what you want. Don’t give up now.
5 Knight of Swords: Don’t make any hasty decisions or have a knee-jerk reaction to a situation. This card represents hastiness and lack of thought in an issue as this Knight always responds to situations without proper consideration. Don’t be forced into making hasty decisions.
Capricorn (December 22 – January 19)
Reading the cards from left to right, this is what was asked:
1 Something from the past that’s coming into play now. 2 Theme of the month ahead. 3 State of key relationships. 4 Where focus should be applied. 5 Key advice.
King of Wands, Five of Wands, Knight of Pentacles, Ace of Wands, Ten of Pentacles
1 King of Wands: This could be someone who has come into your life who inspires you, someone who loves a challenge and thrives on new projects. Someone solid and dependable if a little ruthless at times. If this is not someone in your life right now then it may be someone in the past, who inspires you to embrace these attributes yourself, to help you succeed in your next task.
2 Five of Wands: You feel constrained by some difficulties or obstacles. There are always setbacks in life and they are often put in our way to make us stop and think carefully about the way forward. See this as a challenge to be overcome. Although this has de-motivated you, you have the ability to overcome it and move forward with added pace.
3 Knight of Pentacles: This card represents someone in your life who is steady and perhaps a little predictable but who pays attention to detail. This pedantic but steady approach might just be what is needed right now.
4 Ace of Wands: There is a lot of energy around a new project or idea at the moment and it is an exciting time. Make sure you pay attention to detail to make a real success of it, all the other cards show that it has all the signs of success.
5 Ten of Pentacles: So much of what you have done so far has rewarded you either materially or financially. With the same effort and careful attention to detail you look set to continue achieving. Well done!
Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)
Reading the cards from left to right, this is what was asked:
1 Something from the past that’s coming into play now. 2 Theme of the month ahead. 3 State of key relationships. 4 Where focus should be applied. 5 Key advice.
The Emperor, Strength, Nine of Cups, The Moon, Death
1 The Emperor: You are likely to have needed to be strong in the past or someone has inspired you by their strength and ability in a given situation. It may be that you need to be the strong one in the current situation for that person now. The Emperor protects his and his own with firm conviction.
2 Strength: There are many ways to be strong. Both The Emperor and this card represent the need to be strong in a way that is steady, kind and honest. Use your skills of emotional intelligence, patience and love whatever situation you face. If you do, you will conquer whatever difficulties lie ahead. Avoid being aggressive and domineering.
3 Nine of Cups: Your relationships are strong and rewarding at the moment and they blossom when nurtured. You should be proud of what you have achieved so far, given that there have been trials and tribulations in the past. Possibility of an engagement or a more solid commitment.
4 The Moon: Not everything is crystal clear in relationships and there are times when you feel confused and maybe even concerned. Use your intuitive skills, and the experience you have gained, to work out what you should deal with right now and what you should leave for another time. All will become clear eventually.
5 Death: This card represents the end of the old way of life. Whatever is now no longer in your life has opened opportunities for a much better way of life. Remember that despite any sadness or hurt, the sun can always shine brightly in the morning.
Pisces (February 19 – March 20)
Reading the cards from left to right, this is what was asked:
1 Something from the past that’s coming into play now. 2 Theme of the month ahead. 3 State of key relationships. 4 Where focus should be applied. 5 Key advice.
Five of Wands, Eight of Wands, Eight of Cups, Four of Wands, Page of Cups
1 Five of Wands: There have been difficulties in the past which make you a little afraid of this new part of your life. Obstacles and hurdles are often put in our way to make us stop and think or maybe work a little harder for what we want. Issues we have had in the past should help us understand what we need to do now to make a success of our desires.
2 Eight of Wands: At this moment, however, you have plenty of passion and your creative juices are flowing. This is because of your hard work and perseverance in the projects you are dealing with. There is a lot of energy around you for these projects and they are going really well….make good use of it whilst you have it.
3 Eight of Cups: Whilst in many respects things are going very well for you, your relationship is under strain and it might be that you can’t make it work anymore. This can be such a sad and stressful time. If this is happening to you, try to understand things don’t always work out for a number of reasons. By accepting the truth and spending time doing all you can to heal your wounds, you will soon begin to understand that there are some things we just cannot have, but that does not mean you won’t find happiness in the future.
4 Four of Wands: Whilst personal relationships may not be going well, there are many signs in these cards that other parts of your life are very successful. Maybe by concentrating on your work and projects, for the time being, you will have time to recover from this last difficulty and be ready to start anew.
5 Page of Cups: The Page may indicate a desire for a relationship but the Page also indicates an almost naïve or childish attitude to emotions which may have been the problem in the past. It is likely you are not quite ready for a new relationship yet. Perhaps you need to take some time to decide who and what you want in your life so that you can recognise them straight away and not waste time in relationships just for the sake of being in one.
