Description
This an oil painting Patricia, our resident artist, painted in 2014 for her own father who had just been admitted to a home. He was suffering with dementia and distressed in his new surroundings. Patricia painted this picture to give him something pretty to look at, and to focus on, as he was no longer able to read, and something to comfort him – this is why the word ‘love’ is part of the image. This painting is not as detailed as her other paintings because she wanted him to have it the next day, and so worked on it overnight. We hope you get the feeling of comfort and love, just by looking at it, that Patricia wanted to pass on to her Dad.
