The Queen of Wands is an apt card, I think, to come up today.
We may not want Christmas to be in the forefront of our minds just yet, but as the shops are filling up with decorations, advent calendars and the like, I think subconsciously we are beginning to question ourselves about how we are going to approach this big festival this year.
Are you looking to have a ‘greener’ Christmas with natural holly and mistletoe, would you like to decorate your tree with real apples and ribbons and home made baubles?
Are you thinking about saving some money on the pressies by making some of your own?
Perhaps you are wanting to do a themed Christmas dinner with particular colours or foods.
The reason why the Queen of Wands has appeared today is because she can excel at any tasks she turns her hand to; she is one of those women who are ‘doing it for themselves’ as the song goes, and she will see a task through right to the end. She is telling us to get ahead with those preparations which will create the Christmas you REALLY want. She would apply herself to saving some money, by making home made chutneys and jams, accompanied by some scrummy savoury, or sweet, scones for those ‘difficult to buy for’ males in her life – I can tell you from real experience that this goes down a treat with them! A batch of baking and cooking could cater for several people at once and then you just would need a pretty basket to present them in and cover it with cling film.
She would have no problem getting lists made and getting the orders in good time for the things she wants, because being organised prevents the last minute rush to ‘buy’ anything suitable because we have left it too late to make the choices we wanted.
So make a note on your list of how the Queen of Wands would take Christmas in hand and make it a wonderful and memorable event. Because that is what she does!
I think I will be listening to her message today and start getting prepared for a truly special Christmas this year.
Happy home baking!

I’d better crack on then, haha! I was horrified when I heard the lady in front me of me in the supermarket queue ask the man behind the till if he was ready for Christmas… ‘Chris.. what? We’ve not even got Halloween out of the way yet!’ But yeah, it’s kinda of a big deal and being well prepared beats getting stressed last minutes so thanks for the heads up dear Queen of Wands! 🙂
