In-depth meaning: The Subject should be mindful of the information they are sharing and the people they are associating with.
The Subject, or someone around them, may be required to adopt underhand methods to achieve something they want and the Subject is in an uncomfortable situation where behaviours and actions may not be what they seem. Someone is misleading someone else even if the motivation behind it is sound. This needs to be handled sensitively and the Subject cannot simply demand or apply pressure to get to the bottom of what’s really going on.
It may be that it is the Subject who, for what seems to be very good reasons, is the one who is not being honest, or trying to manipulate the situation, and when the truth finally comes out they will need to consider whether the end justifies the means.
Depending on the nature of the question posed by the Subject, this card could be a warning that they may be being manipulated by someone else.
Notes on the image: The Swords are neatly arranged, but all facing outward, the clouds are not stormy and turbulent. This image indicates there are no real heavy, confrontational issues that need to be handled now, but the Swords facing outwards, away from each other, would indicate the need to ‘watch your back’ – there is unseen manipulation around.
