Short meaning: An achievement of some description, the first hurdle overcome. This isn’t the final outcome, you’re pretty much still at the starting blocks. Nevertheless, this is an important stage on your journey; celebrate and be proud of yourself.
In-depth meaning: This is the first Wands card to portray real achievement. Something has come to fruition and the Subject has managed to manifest an idea into reality. The wants and aspirations depicted by the Wands cards are not always feasible or realistic. They may take the Subject’s fancy but ultimately come to nothing. Not with the Three, though, and that’s why it’s such a positive card. It shows a project/venture or pursuit that has sparked the passion of the Subject, but, moreover, that the Subject has actually been able to show there is something very sound about it.
This is obviously a fulfilling experience and will drive the Subject on to do, and achieve, more. They should be mindful that the Three is still an “early stage” card. The situation as it is now will change and develop. It’s likely that there are challenges and hurdles to overcome but, for now, they should be feeling happy and excited about what is ahead of them.
Notes on the image: This card has three Wands which are forming, at least, the beginning of a structure. Because it is an early card the structure does not look perfectly sound and there is a chance it can collapse. But the structure is standing and not threatened by the fire (the element associated with Wands), which is burning brightly and evenly. This means that something tangible has appeared in a current venture/project/business or work front which bodes well for the future.
