Tarotscopes for March 2016 can be found by scrolling down this blog page.
Another month has whizzed by and now we are approaching lighter and more exciting days when we start to see nature bursting forth around us. For me, it is such a lovely time of year, full of promise and desire to get out in the world which is waking from its winter slumber.
This might be the time the recognise that we, too, can begin to blossom and flourish if we are given the right environment and nurturing, and this is why I have used an adapted spread to focus on what our needs and problems might be in the coming month of March. The tarot may be able to tell us which areas in our lives would benefit from extra attention and careful tending.
So, without further ado, scroll down the page to find your star sign and the tarotscope for the month ahead. Please do leave any pleasant comments and share with your family and friends, and I wish you a wonderful Month of March.

This spread is read from bottom of left column upwards and top of right column downwards.
1 Who you are at the moment: The Tower
2 What is important to you: Ace of Wands
3 What your current problem is: Temperance
4 Resolution: Judgement
The Tower in the first position strongly suggests that you are feeling pretty unsecure at the moment. You feel you might be on the brink of disaster, or you fear that you are just a step away from it all going wrong and this is incredibly unsettling. Taking into consideration the second card, the Ace of Wands, it is perhaps because you feel that what you have achieved so far has been a waste of time and effort and now you want to bin every thing you have done and start again and, moreover, create something concrete that you can rely on in the future. You also want this new start to be something you enjoy doing, and you feel you have the ambition and drive to make it work. Aries’ element is Fire, and this backs up the absolute passion and desire to be getting on with sorting out your situation as soon as possible.
The problem is indicated by Temperance in position 3. Temperance represents a lack of balance in your life which might be causing some of the issues. Sometimes, we need to stop and take a close and careful look at the issues at hand. We also need to be aware of how over-logical or over-emotional we are when we are trying to sort out a problem, or analysing what the actual issues are. It might help to look with honesty at your present situation and accept that, whilst some things have not gone so well, there are other things that shouldn’t be dismissed out of hand (think of the saying ‘Don’t throw the baby out with the bath water’) When you stop and look at the current issues in your life/work at the moment, Temperance would advise that maybe you need to look at them with a little more love, and kindness, than being too dismissive and saying that none of it is any good.
The resolution card, Judgement, seconds this by suggesting you look at your behaviours to see how they are affecting your life/lifestyle. Perhaps you are too critical of your work. It could be that, if you are being too hard on yourself, then others will follow and assume that you are right and also dismiss your work. If you are seen to be proud and happy with some aspects of it, then people around you might become more inclined to give you much needed support and encouragement to help you to realise that much of what you do is sound. If you are your harshest critic, you may not be able to truly hear those who like what you do. If you are ready to take a look at these behaviours, you may find you are able to build on some of what you have already achieved instead of having to start anew from scratch.
Taurus

1 Who you are at the moment: The High Priestess
2 What is important to you: Six of Swords
3 What your current problem is: The Fool
4 Resolution: Ace of Swords
The High Priestess in the first position may indicate that you cannot see where you are heading right now but you feel that something new is on the horizon. This card often comes up when things are about to change, or new aspects of life are coming into play. It is likely that The High Priestess could be suggesting that you do not make any major decisions in the coming month, about your future, because all has not been made clear to you as yet. You are finding this situation pretty difficult at the moment but it is important that you are able to carry on functioning on a day to day level, which is very important to keep the status quo ( Six of Swords). Even though your patience is wearing thin, it seems that just for a little while longer you need to hang on in there.
The issue at hand, represented by The Fool, is that you so desperately want to get things going, you desperately want this fresh start and you are so eager to get going, which is totally understandable, but forcing the issue when the time is not right, can sometimes create other problems which we are less able to handle. The Fool card would also be asking you to be wary of rushing into new situations without careful thought – sometimes the excitement of a new adventure causes us to miss obvious pitfalls because we are not being alert enough – we get carried away with the excitement.
The resolution card is the Ace of Swords. This card would represent the need to get some mental clarity and agility on the case, to be focussed on exactly what you want to achieve and how to do it effectively. There is a lot of energy around this card so it could mean that the waiting period, up to your new opportunity arriving, would be the optimum time to get some knowledge, learning or research done , so that you feel fully prepared and ready for your new journey.
Gemini

1 Who you are at the moment:Six of Pentacles
2 What is important to you: The Hierophant
3 What your current problem is: Page of Pentacles
4 Resolution: Three of Swords
Your faith in other people has been restored (Six of Pentacles). After a relative drought, in terms of support, for your key endeavours, the fact that someone is ready to invest either time or money into you, or your work, has made you happy and glad to get back on the treadmill. This card is a really positive card which suggests that you are very much on the right track at the moment, although there is a way to go. It is likely, though, that you have become aware that other people can help you along the way, that it is good to ask for help, and accept ideas and advice from reliable sources that you can really benefit from. No matter what our age, we can always learn from someone else, there are always people who can demonstrate a better way to do things, and at this stage this is something that is important for your progression (The Hierophant).
The problem is that you perhaps feel a little inadequate compared to those around you, and it could be making you feel like a novice which can be somewhat unnerving and unsettling. This is a new phase in your life where you are required to keep climbing up that learning curve. The Page of Pentacles is naturally drawn to studying and learning, and by making that little bit of effort to keep up with progression, and learning new bits of information, he is indicating that this is a strategy that will help you in future successes; so by accepting that there is much to learn, you will be doing yourself a favour, even if it means you feel you are taking the back seat again.
The resolution card is the Three of Swords. This is a card that really speaks of something that is making you unhappy, even of loss. It is likely that this learning process, and taking a back seat, whilst others around you seem so confident, is something that is shaking your confidence and self-esteem, just when you thought you were doing fine. If you can take this seemingly ‘back step’ just now, you will find that it becomes a springboard for forging onwards with the proper skills and ability, and, when the time is right, you will be ready to gallop ahead full of confidence.

1 Who you are at the moment: Knight of Pentacles
2 What is important to you: Three of Pentacles
3 What your current problem is: Two of Swords
4 Resolution: Four of Cups
Paying attention to detail and keeping within a routine are things that keep you on the steady road (Knight of Pentacles). Whilst in some ways this might be looked upon as restrictive and unexciting by other peoples’ standards, it is a sure fire way to ensure that nothing is left to chance and being ordered, and in control of situations, is what makes you happy. On the other hand you may feel like you would like to break from the routine sometimes, and have a go at something new and exciting (Three of Pentacles). It might not be a bad idea to consider doing something a little out of the norm for you this coming month. The Three of Pentacles is a very positive card in terms of what is important to you, and could be indicating that to have a go at something different, maybe even creative, might just be the start of something which could bring in a little extra income. It might also relieve the tedium of the routine which you know works so well for you.
There is something hanging over you, however, which is causing you, at least, a bit of conflict and really, if you want that nagging conflict to go away, you might need to consider tackling it rather than avoiding the issue. Perhaps some discussion around it might give you a better understanding of the situation and the ability to bring it to a conclusion. The Two of Swords is always about avoiding an issue at hand, but it is worth remembering that sometimes, if an issue is left to fester too long, it can easily get worse.
The resolution card for you in March is the Four of Cups. It would seem then, that relationships might be the issue at hand. This card would advise you to look at your own mindset, your own input or lack of it, to see how your attitude to things might not be helping the situation. Perhaps it is time to step up to the mark and, one way or another, get things onto a better level all round.

1 Who you are at the moment: Seven of Wands
2 What is important to you: Nine of Cups
3 What your current problem is: The Hierophant
4 Resolution: Nine of Pentacles
This month could see a lull in your enthusiasm for life or work (Seven of Wands). Losing the zest for what you consider important is really debilitating, but allowing that pall to continue its hold on you will not serve your purpose. Whatever the situation, it is always down to the individual to try and find ways to fire up the passion and creativity once more, it is not necessarily something other people can do to help. In the ‘What is important to you’ position we are shown that a loving home life and successful relationships (Nine of Cups) are key to your happiness right now and maybe this is what is taking the focus away from your other projects.
The card indicating the current problem is The Hierophant, which would advise that there is something you need to learn about the current situation, and that it might be important to speak to somebody who could enlighten you on what you need to know to make things better. This could be a professional, a mentor or someone with experience in what you are struggling with right now. Communication is always important when faced with issues, if neither you, nor the other people involved, know the real problems or why they have occurred, how can they be fixed?
The resolution card is the Nine of Pentacles. This card would normally indicate how hard work and commitment have secured a happy and successful way of life, therefore it might be suggesting that some hard work and effort need to be put it to all your endeavours to build something very much worth having, rather than just sitting back and expecting it all to happen without your input. Problems just don’t happen to sort themselves out without any input from us.

1 Who you are at the moment: Seven of Pentacles
2 What is important to you: Seven of Cups
3 What your current problem is: Nine of Swords
4 Resolution: Five of Wands
It is likely you will be facing a decision with regard to your work or income, and this is causing you some distress because you are concerned that the outcome might adversely affect your financial situation. Naturally, this can be a daunting prospect and the responsibility of making that decision can weigh very heavily. Whilst trying to decide, it can be useful to look carefully at past experiences, and how they impacted on you, to help you make any decision right now – only you know what you are able to put up with if things don’t turn out as you hoped. It might also be helpful weigh up your priorities carefully, and whether any new opportunities are, at least, going to ensure that those basic needs will be covered. The same applies to what you want in your home life/relationships (Seven of Cups). If you feel you should be able to make more decisions within your relationship, for your own empowerment, then this is something you need to work for. If your current relationship does not give you these basic rights then perhaps you need to reconsider what you are getting out of it.
The current problem, it seems, is that you are possibly being too hard on yourself right now; perhaps you blame yourself for things that have happened, or you feel guilty that you haven’t done something the way you feel you should have. The truth is, things are probably much worse in your own mind than they are in reality. By allowing these destructive and negative thoughts to take over your mind, you are not able to move firmly and confidently upward, which is where you belong. Try not to let your mind play tricks on you.
The Five of Wands is the resolution card. The Wands cards are all about passion, ambition, drive and adventure and the Five is specifically about perceived (or real) hurdles or obstacles. This card would be advising you to focus on what you honestly think the problems are and to try to look at them objectively, to find new ways of approaching them and how you can overcome them. Perhaps now is the time to make some radical changes in your approach to the way you live your life, and even how you regard yourself.

1 Who you are at the moment: Six of Pentacles
2 What is important to you: Three of Swords
3 What your current problem is: Strength
4 Resolution: The Emperor
You are currently enjoying an influx of money which wasn’t really expected but which has naturally delighted you, so things on the financial front are really looking pretty secure and boding well for the future – this is a sure sign that all your hard work and effort you have put in is beginning to have a significant impact (Six of Pentacles). This should help you feel much more confident going forward.
What is important to you is the need to feel secure, and that people around you won’t let you down or betray you. You may even have a subconscious worry that because things have gone so well that suddenly you will lose something. This is a worry that practically everyone has. It makes no sense to worry about things that might never happen, it can be a destructive attitude to live with. There are many people whose lives just continue from one happy event to another – maybe it is your turn now. The Strength card in the ‘What your current Problem is’ might just be indicating that even if you were let down, you need to know that you are strong enough to deal with it anyway. The Strength card would also advise you to channel any unnecessary, or frightening thoughts (negative energy), into something more positive and productive for you and your family.
In the resolution position, we have The Emperor. This is an authoritative man in your life, or around you, who is fiercely protective, and who will be someone you can turn to in times of need. With such a strong influence in your life, you are more than likely capable of overcoming any issues you perceive to be a threat. If this is not someone in your life, then this card might be encouraging you to believe that you have much more ability and authority than you think. And maybe, that other people around you are starting to realise what an impressive person you are.
Scorpio
This spread is read from bottom of left column upwards and top of right column downwards.
1 Who you are at the moment: The Empress
2 What is important to you: Ten of Swords
3 What your current problem is: Page of Pentacles
4 Resolution: Knight of Pentacles
The Empress is an impressive card to come out for you in the ‘Who you are at the moment’ position. Naturally, she is looked up to by her people, those who she nurtures, and she loves, to her utmost; she is very approachable and giving in every respect; she is extremely capable and very down to earth as well. However, The Empress becomes less happy when she thinks that people are doing things a different way to her own, then she can become tetchy and formidable. The card in the second position, ‘What is important to you’ is the Ten of Wands, and it represents being overburdened from taking on too much, which suggests that, maybe, like The Empress, if something is not done ‘your’ way you feel that it is not done properly at all. It is likely, then, that you tend to feel you must do everything, because you do not want to delegate, and this is tiring you out.
The card in the actual ‘what is your problem’ position is the Page of Pentacles; this little guy might just be saying you need to learn to do things in a different way. Perhaps if you learn how to let other people help you out, your life might be less congested, and much more of a two way street, in that, if given a chance, the people around you can learn from you, over time, how it can be done more effectively. In this way, you will all definitely benefit from sharing the tasks.
The resolution card is the Knight of Pentacles. This Knight is very dependable and trustworthy, he also pays attention to detail so that he always does a good job. He is not a fly-by-night, by any means, so he would represent young people around you who are more than willing to pitch in (and not just a one-off either), who are capable of helping you out with all those things that need doing, at home and at work. In fact, it is very likely that, if you do allow those around you to do some of these tasks, you are likely to be astounded at how well they do them.
Sagittarius

1 Who you are at the moment: Six of Cups
2 What is important to you: The Emperor
3 What your current problem is: The Hierophant
4 Resolution: Five of Wands
This coming month might see you feeling regret over a relationship that has gone awry and possibly wanting for it to be the way it was (Six of Cups). However, this is a positive card in that, it represents possibilities of reconciliation, or reunion, if this is what you really want, but it will be important to make sure you are not viewing that ‘better’ relationship through rose tinted spectacles. The Emperor in the ‘What is important to you’ certainly indicates that either having a strong male around you makes you feel more comfortable, or that you want to be your own Emperor and in charge of your own life and lifestyle. Whichever it is you need to decide how to bring this about, because this will help you to make the most of your life.
In position 3, the card that indicates the ‘problem’ is The Hierophant. This card could either mean a new way of looking at things, possibly coming away from the doctrines you have always lived by; or it is about seeking the guidance you need to rectify or optimise your situation. So perhaps this card advises that you talk to someone about your feelings, as they are at the moment; this might be a counsellor, a mentor, or someone who has practical experience in this particular area, who might just help you achieve some clarity of thinking about your needs. Researching online or reading books about people in similar situations, and how they overcame those obstacles, might give you a new perspective on yours.
The resolution card is the Five of Wands. This card represents perceived (or real) obstacles between us and what we want to achieve. The way to find resolution is to take a clear look at the things that are hindering you, or preventing you doing what you want to do. There are many ways to get over, under or through these obstacles to find the best life for you, it is just a matter of finding the way that works for you, use your intelligence to look at issues from a new perspective which might just give you the answers you are looking for.
Capricorn
This spread is read from bottom of left column upwards and top of right column downwards.
1 Who you are at the moment: Knight of Swords
2 What is important to you: Justice
3 What your current problem is: Three of Pentacles
4 Resolution:The Lovers
Come March you may feel ready to go charging into situations to put all things to rights. Perhaps you feel keenly about things that don’t seem right or fair to you, and you have the energy and the where-withal to fight the fair fight. This kind of vigour is admirable, although the Knight of Swords which represents the ‘Who you are at the moment’ position, tends to head into battle without really searching deeply into the situation and can sometimes realise, a bit too late, that he hadn’t quite got it right, or he gets to a point of boredom and takes flight in a second because it is not worth his effort. So unless you are absolutely sure that this is a worthy cause, take time to weigh up the pros and cons of getting involved and whether you should invest your valuable time into it.
Justice, in the ‘What is important to you’ position, seems to back up the previous card that you feel strongly that justice should be seen to be done, and maybe, even, that you feel you, personally, need to physically do something about them. Of course it is right to stand up for what you think is right, but again, weigh up the situation before declaring your stance. This is because the card in position 3, the Three of Pentacles, represents the successes you have achieved on a material level, and bearing in mind the position is ‘What your current problem is’, it is possible that this card could be saying that the successes you have achieved could be at threat by being over zealous.
The Lovers, in the resolution position, may be suggesting that some of the choices you are making might be creating ripples throughout your relationships which are making people wonder, or having to choose, whether they should, or not, stand by you. It may be that, on a personal level, it is asking you to choose very carefully about what causes you are willing to fight for, so that you do not lose out in any way. It is also very possible that The Lovers card is indicating that people can do foolish things for all the wrong reasons and you may be required to be more understanding, because some things just can’t be fixed and some people just cannot be helped.
Aquarius
This spread is read from bottom of left column upwards and top of right column downwards.
1 Who you are at the moment: Five of Pentacles
2 What is important to you: Page of Wands
3 What your current problem is: Queen of Cups
4 Resolution:Five of Cups
March brings you to a place where you are not feeling particularly secure in terms of your material situation (Five of Pentacles). It is likely that you are feeling you have lost something quite fundamental in your everyday living standards and this is making you feel unsure and somewhat inadequate. These things sometimes happen, but, providing you have your basic needs covered, this lack of self esteem is not something you should dwell upon if you need to move forward to make things right for yourself. The Page of Wands indicates that you are raring to get even further on in your endeavours, and projects, to create a substantial and sustainable standard of living; perhaps you feel you have taken one step forward and three back, but if you don’t rush into things unnecessarily you will stand a much better chance of forging ahead successfully. Take your time with each new step to make sure what you are doing is viable and feasible.
The problem for you at the moment is the need to feel good about about yourself (Queen of Cups). As she has come out in the ‘What your current problem is’ position, it is likely that you need to focus on getting to a state where you feel beautiful, capable and very much loved. She is a great role model to emulate, because she can win people over so easily, just by being herself, she is supremely confident, she knows she is beautiful, she knows she is loved……….and this is how you need to be. Embrace your Queen of Cups within, by doing what is necessary to make you feel good about yourself. Make sure you absolutely love who and what you are first, then sit back and watch what an amazing affect this can have on people around you.
The resolution card in this reading is the Five of Cups. This card is about upset within a relationship and the possibility of reconciliation if it is something which is wanted. This card would indicate that a change of attitude to a given situation could encourage it to be sorted if only you concentrate more on the positives than the negatives. Nothing is ever written in stone and many problems can be overcome with a renewed vigour and desire to make it work.
Pisces
This spread is read from bottom of left column upwards and top of right column downwards.
1 Who you are at the moment: The Fool
2 What is important to you: The Emperor
3 What your current problem is: Ten of Swords
4 Resolution:Ten of Wands
It looks as though the coming month of March is bringing in a new You. New starts can be exciting and nerve-racking at the same, and so, as you embark on this new journey, you need to make sure you are not distracted by all the emotional upheaval and distractions that these new experiences bring along with them. Make sure that the mistakes you made in the past are not going to be part of this next endeavour and recognise the pitfalls you fell into before and avoid them this time round.
The Emperor in the ‘What is important to you’ position, could either indicate a strong personality in your life that means a lot to you, and you recognise it is someone you are keen to keep in your life because you need their input. On the other hand, this card could represent yourself, and your determination to become the decision maker, controller and Emperor of your own life. Either way, this card would represent the strength, ability and authority that is needed in your life right now. It is time to get a firm hold on your own fortunes and protect them fiercely.
This new journey is perhaps as the result of a past relationship or job which has ended recently; of course, this has left you reeling and very disappointed, but, with each cycle that has ended, you have learnt much more about life, yourself and the people around you; you have much more ability now you are starting again, and you have much more wisdom to make this next stage work better for you than ever before.
The resolution card is the Ten of Wands which indicates that you have far too much to deal with on a daily basis. You need to be realistic and understand that it is not necessarily other peoples’ responsibility to take the weight of your shoulders, only you know what you are personally able to manage, and what you can’t. The new You will need to learn how to delegate tasks, and prioritise the work that needs doing, to learn how to shelve some things temporarily, and to focus on the things that warrant your full attention. By doing this you will be achieving so much more, whereas currently you may be underachieving, in your tasks, because you don’t have time to really focus on them fully.
