Hi and welcome to the tarotscopes for November 2020. Scroll down to find your zodiac/star sign and read what the month might hold in store for you.
I want to wish all our American friends the very best possible outcome in the coming Presidential election. I have been watching what is going on with huge interest – in fact I’m a bit obsessed with it.
I wrote these tarotscopes as I would normally do and it was only after they were finished that it occurred to me that I could read the tarotscope for Donald Trump and Joe Biden this election month. Trump is a Gemini (I know because we share the same birthday lol!). Biden is actually on the cusp of Scorpio (this month’s birthday sign) and Sagittarius so it was interesting to read both of his for the coming month. Trump’s Gemini reading was interesting too. Perhaps you would like to read them and see what you think November holds for each of them.
At the last Presidential election I pulled cards for Hillary Clinton and asked if she would win and the cards said yes. I did the same for Donald Trump and the cards said yes. I was surprised at that, but didn’t question any further. Interestingly, although Trump won the Presidency, Clinton won the most votes. That’s tarot for you. I haven’t pulled any for this election, but the tarotscopes for both contenders might be telling.
Good luck anyway, USA.
Stay safe all of you, wherever in the world you are.

ARIES:
If you are struggling with an issue right now – perhaps money related or maybe you feel you need a promotion – the Two of Wands suggests that there is an opportunity around you (in its early stages) which may well provide solutions. For instance, if you are looking for income, there may be a hobby/skill you could monetise (which would need some effort to get it going) or there could be a piece of work in your job which could get you noticed should you take it under your wing. This card is about there being a way to improve a situation regardless of the nature of the problem. Just be alert to opportunities you can grab which will highlight your abilities.
The next card, Strength, might also help find the solution to this issue. This card often appears to caution against being too proud or egotistical in certain circumstances. Phrases like ‘I shouldn’t have to do this’ or ‘I’ve done more than enough’ won’t help at this time. The Strength card is about managing your pride, and your ego, and approaching a situation by changing your own attitude. In other words, at this time, a more humble approach might help you get what you need, whereas great expectations of what you think you deserve won’t. (See on the card image how the figure does not slay the lion with his sword – which would be easy for him – he tries to manage it a more humane/gentle way).
The Six of Cups is a card which indicates a longing for a past relationship which went awry – now this may not be referring to a specific relationship but by taking the other cards into account, it could indicate a state of mind. It could be that your mindset takes a nostalgic turn, imagining that every thing was easy in the past. It could well feel like that, but that’s because all the pressure and pain tends to get forgotten, just like in a past relationship. We have to keep looking forward and keep striving, working to achieve the things we need – harking to the past will not really help you forge into the future.
So, Judgement rounds up these cards with a message that perhaps there needs to be some self analysis about your attitude to life and the opportunities it brings. You might be judged by others by your recent behaviours. You might be being asked to examine your own behaviours. Are you happy with what you are? Are there things you can do to make things better? Do your actions endear you to people or do they turn them off? It would seem that in November you are being asked to do a bit of soul searching, to look for opportunities and work out how you can grow them, and how you might need to adapt to different ways of getting things done. The successes of the future could be affected simply by your own approach.
TAURUS:
It looks like November could be an interesting month in terms of your income, or how you can increase your capacity financially.
The Pentacles are cards which represent your income or standard of living in terms of your material lifestyle. Both the Knight and the King of Pentacles are quite high up with regard to the level of financial comfort, which suggests that you are already doing well. But if you aren’t already there, then these cards will be advising as to how you can improve your situation. So, these cards could be referring to your use of money, or your approach to the job/business/source of income. The Knight would ask you to pay great attention to your work/business – this Knight can be considered pedantic or even boring because of the attention to detail that he applies to his tasks. He always succeeds though, and that is what his message is – don’t leave things to happenstance, put the full effort in at work and work hard at making your money work for you.
The King of Pentacles appears to let you know that you have the capacity to really make the best use of money and grow what you already have – money can make money. This King knows how to utilise his money and opportunities very well and can increase the income that they bring. He is asking you to learn to do the same thing – because he knows you can achieve this acumen and be just as capable as he is.
The King of Swords, in this reading, is likely to have come to advise you to trust your head more than your heart in November. He never lets emotion cloud his judgement and that is part of his success. However, he would also advise that total lack of emotion, in some circumstances, could be too much for some people, this King can be quite harsh in his communications and offend easily. So be clear headed and driven by logic, and knowledge, rather than gut instinct because instinct is an emotional response.
The Three of Wands indicates that there will be signs of success in terms of work or a project you are working on. This is an early number in terms of tarot cards and suggests that this project is still in its early stages; however, you can give yourself a pat on the back and be proud of the effort you’ve put in so far. Don’t stop now and remember the advise above when going forward with it.
GEMINI:
The Judgement card in this reading suggests that you are likely to be judged by your past behaviours. If you have been as kind and caring as possible over recent times then the judgement should be favourable and this should manifest in a way that you will see. You may, however, be being asked to do some self-analysis about the way you treat others and how your actions impact on others around you. This can be very hard to do, but it can be a very useful exercise and, if you prepared to hear some hurtful truths, then you could learn a lot about how your behaviour is impacting others – on the other hand you might be hugely delighted with the responses. Whichever of these it is, the point is you will be in the spotlight and you will be judged by your behaviours.
The Five of Pentacles indicates that you might have some financial issues that could worry you. This might be because the worry about loss of income could represent your ties to material goods, and comforts, that make you feel it is more about ‘losing face’ and status, rather than not being able to manage. If you have confidence in yourself that you can work things out, you will be able to forge ahead with the next stage of your life regardless of your financial situation.
The Four of Wands suggests that your hard work and efforts will start to pay off. Take a moment to relax and appreciate your successes before forging ahead again. What you have built is strong and enduring and you have all the necessary skills and tools you need to continue growing this venture/project.
In terms of love, the King of Cups could indicate a new love interest in your life. If you are not looking for a partner then this card could indicate that perhaps you should look at your current attitude to love to see if this is where you really want to be. This King is sensitive and empathetic, he can talk knowledgeably about love and can advise any, and all, about it. However emotional he appears to be, he actually avoids putting himself on the line in terms of relationships. Is this where you are? If yes, then perhaps you should consider how pain from past relationships are stifling you and preventing you from embracing a new love and missing out on some wonderful, loving experiences.
CANCER:
The Ace of Pentacles indicates that there is a new opening or opportunity that could make money in the future. With Ace cards it is often just an ‘idea’ that has surfaced, however this card also indicates that, in November, there will be plenty of energy around this idea and it is possible to grow it if you grab the chance. So, don’t just throw away these thoughts/ideas – lightbulb moments – the energy around them could spark them out of fantasy, and in to reality, with some application from you.
In terms of relationships, the Page of Cups seems to be advising that a period of self reflection might be needed. You may feel ready for a new relationship, right now, but, the reality is, that there is likely to be some pain lurking from previous hurts – the importance of this is that it could affect your future choices and be keeping you stuck in a cycle. Bring yourself back to your ‘self’. Don’t just make do with what’s available but try to work out what you love about yourself, what you deserve to have and only be ready to take someone on when you are more confident in yourself and have more certainty about your own needs. This energy will attract the right one for you.
In November you might have to decide which battles you wish to fight and which to leave well alone. You don’t have to fight every battle to win the war – just the key ones. If you are faced with a conflict of some sort try and rationalise whether the fall out will be worth it – because sometimes it isn’t.
Alongside these cards is the Ace of Swords. This could mean that you would benefit from taking a different attitude to something this time, as opposed to the way you have managed it in the past. Life is all about learning, changing and growing, and this is why our beliefs and attitudes are constantly being challenged. It’s ok to change your mind. It’s ok to think differently about things you’ve always accepted as the norm. It’s ok for you to act differently, or react differently, to other people. You don’t have to follow their lead. A new way of thinking is on its way because you are heading for a new chapter in your life.
LEO:
With four Major Arcana cards in November’s reading it is likely that there will be significant impact on the way you approach your life, and how life can impact on you.
Starting with The Chariot, you might feel somewhat pushed and pulled in different directions, most likely from other people or outside events, and this could make you feel out of control in terms of what you want to achieve. The way to overcome this is to make a decision about what you want to do; then it is important to stick to that decision if you want to make headway. If you allow other people to divert you from your chosen path you won’t get where you want to be. You have to be a little tougher and take the reins, so you can steer yourself in the right direction.
You may well find that a decision is made with regard to a particular situation, according to the Justice card. It could be a legal wrangle that is finalised, or it could be that you will be faced with the consequences of your actions with regard to a recent issue. If your behaviours have always been exercised with the best of intentions then something will manifest that justifies those behaviours and you will be understood and vindicated.
You might also find that you have feelings of guilt, or feel a bit ashamed about yourself. This could be in terms of addictions, possibly about your behaviours, or even just beating yourself up about mistakes you have made in the past. Whatever it is, this thought pattern could hold you back from enjoying life the way you should because it might make you feel unworthy. The mind is a powerful thing and The Devil represents a debilitating mindset – and keeping you in metaphorical chains. A change of mindset is all that is needed. If there are things about you that you can change for the better you can do it. Mistakes made in the past can only stay in the past – learn from them but don’t be chained to them. Addictions can be overcome with willpower and determination. Things can be better, but only you can make them better. And you are powerful enough to make those changes.
The Hermit is an apt card to come out after The Devil. With everything that life deals us we can easily get lost, we can get entangled in things we don’t want to be entangled with, we can get tired of ourselves and the way we act. The Hermit appears when it is necessary to find a quiet place and some time to think. We need to go deep within ourselves to find that pure light we began with, so we can shine it on our true path and make headway, and so that we can be beacons of light for others that have also lost their way. Learn the lessons from the mistakes that were made, forgive yourself for making wrong decisions and find that light that burns somewhere deep within you and let it guide you as you take the first steps of your new path.
VIRGO:
Towards the end of most tasks we start to feel weary or even exhausted. The Nine of Wands represents this stage – we are close to success but all we want to do is give in, or give up. But this is the time when a last effort, dragged from nowhere, is required just to get it finished. If you feel like this in November, don’t give up – find the energy for one more day, one more minute – whatever it takes, because you’ll get there and it will be worth it. You are so close to seeing the fruits of all your effort.
Interestingly, this card is followed by the card Justice. It would seem that if you can just keep going with whatever is causing the strain and pressure, it is likely to bring some manifestation that your actions and behaviours were justified. This will be plain for all to see – even the ones who doubted you and thought you could never succeed. When this happens you will understand why you were pushed so hard, and more importantly, why it was so important to keep going no matter how hard it was, or how tired you were. This will be balm to your heart, soul, body and mind, and with it will come the acknowledgement and appreciation you deserve.
The Eight of Wands is a card which indicates that, at last, hurdles and barriers that had held you back are now overcome. You can now move forward apace. This card indicates a surge of energy and creativity, which, if you use wisely, will be hugely productive. You may still have a lot to do but you can now do things with a freedom and enjoyment that you didn’t have before, and this is what will really make a difference.
In addition, the Two of Pentacles indicates that a partnership, or some sort of practical/financial help, could be available to you. Instead of trying to do all this alone, it would make sense to accept this help. In whichever form this help comes it should increase your ability to improve your financial situation and these opportunities don’t arise every day, so make the most of it. It looks as if you will have an interesting and productive November.
LIBRA:
Strength appears in a reading when it is necessary to look at one’s approach to a situation. This card is about channelling a more combative and demanding energy, to get something resolved, into a more gentle way. You may think you are ‘in the right’ or ‘know what’s best’ but this power attitude is unlikely to work this time. As you can see in the image on the card the figure has discarded the use of his sword with which he can easily overcome the lion – instead he is using a much more humane and tender approach. So, in November, try to keep your ‘actual’ power under control – so you can resolve any issues in a way that will be very much admired and appreciated.
You may have had a difficult time just recently – perhaps something has happened that could even be called traumatic – so, the Four of Swords has appeared to let you know that you are likely to be able to recoup and rest for a while. It is important to do this, right now, since life has a habit of continuing to challenge us. Make sure you rest and heal – not just physically but mentally, and emotionally, too. Meditation and deep reflection will help to acknowledge the pain, accept it and to let it flow and this will assist the healing process.
The Nine of Cups is also a card which acknowledges hardships in terms of relationships, but which, now, have been overcome. It also indicates that these relationships are strong, established and enduring and this is something to celebrate and enjoy. Family and emotions can bring both joy and pain but this card is saying that all is good, so congratulate yourself on all the effort you have put in to make this the case.
Anyone with any conscience is going to have the good, the bad and the ugly playing through their mind often – these thoughts generally come and go. The Devil card, in tarot, advises that you might find yourself feeling guilty or ashamed at some of the things you are doing now, or have done, in your life. This could be referring to any addictions you might have/had, or simply feeling responsible for any pain that you think you may have caused, or even mulling over past mistakes. This guilt and shame can stop you from living freely and can make you feel unworthy of good things, which could impede your progress. But, as always, there is a choice you can make – you can make changes to anything you are doing if you feel bad about it. You can also change your mindset to one that accepts your mistakes and forgives your ‘self’ for past behaviours. There is only one person who can free you from this mindset – you.
SCORPIO:
You might find yourself engaged in a new idea or project, in November, which shows some potential. The Aces in a suit appear when something is just in its embryonic phase – it is not really tangible but showing much promise. The Ace of Wands suggests that there will be a lot of energy and interest around this idea, but it will only start to really grow if you apply thought and effort to the concept. Look out for things that catch your interest, or are suggested to you – if you give it some real thought you might be surprised at how it could take hold. It will be down to you to keep alert for it as often these opportunities can pass by sometimes without even being noticed.
The Hermit card suggests that the coming month might be a good time to find some peace and quiet and have a deep dive into the very centre of your being. Perhaps you are floundering a bit as to where you are heading and why. Life can take us on a crazy journey and leave us lost – The Hermit asks us to find ourselves and our purpose again, but it will be necessary to allow yourself to escape the chaos and think about, and for, yourself. The aim would be to focus on what you need, and what you can do to start to achieve that.
It would seem, by the order of the cards, that, should you get focused on where you want to head, you might be rewarded with a gift or loan that could help you substantially. The Six of Pentacles is the card that suggests this benefit could be coming your way. It is likely to be very timely and restore your faith in mankind, and life in general. The key message of this card is to make the most of this boost since they are rare opportunities, and could be very useful for setting you up for the future.
The Queen of Cups, in this reading, could be describing you as a confident, alluring and lovable person who finds it easy to embrace relationships. You might even find that you could inspire some jealousy with your natural ease and approachability. If you feel this is not you, then this Queen would be advising that now is the time to embrace the Queen of Cups within you. Learn to be confident in yourself, believe that people will love you if you are natural and kind, and don’t be afraid of showing your emotions. This card is about believing in yourself and your inherent beauty and ability to love. It is time for the Queen of Cups in you to emerge to enjoy life and love to the full.

Happy Birthday to you all!
Here is your Card:
Well, whether it feels like it or not, it seems you are viewed as a very successful person! The King of Pentacles represents the ultimate example of success, and who increases his wealth using his experience and acumen. He is careful with his money and he is renowned for his hard work and financial savvy, and, of course, he can afford all the comforts of life.
Even though you may not feel you have not reached the dizzy heights of wealth and success, just yet, this card has come out especially to let you know that you have all the skills and abilities to succeed like this King. He will advise you, though, that it is only through effort, learning, hard work and experiencing wins and failures that this success will come. Of course, this is to be expected but it is nice to know he has appeared to say that anything is possible for you! Perhaps he is letting you know that the coming year will show you just how well your efforts will start to pay off!
SAGITTARIUS:
Well, The World is a wonderful card to start this reading for November! At least, it seems, for the coming month you can bask in your success on every level. This card represents you achieving in terms of relationships, money, work and mental alacrity – there is not much you will be lacking this coming month, which is likely to be a big relief. You don’t achieve these skills without experiencing the challenges that hone them. Nor do we often get the chance to feel we have everything we need, you must have worked very hard, so well done to you and enjoy this lovely time.
So, even though, materially and financially, you are in a good place, the Seven of Pentacles indicates that you might be faced with a decision in terms of your income that might cause you to stop and think for a while. An option that could be put before you might rock the boat a little, but The World card should reassure you that there is nothing you can’t handle. The decision might be hard for you, as to whether you take up this option, but ultimately you are being advised that you shouldn’t worry, as you have all the capabilities necessary to make it work, whatever it is.
The Queen of Wands endorses this – every task that this Queen undertakes is embraced with enthusiasm and done incredibly well. There is nothing she can’t turn her hand to, and there is no end to her application and skills which always help her succeed. The same goes for you. Whatever you will be tasked with in the coming month you will handle with great ability – you just need to remember the Queen of Wands and not get fazed by anything. Be confident in yourself.
And it looks as though there could be a new project or endeavour that might present itself to you. The Ace of Wands indicates that there will be plenty of energy around a new idea or opportunity. Whatever catches your interest, or is put to you as a suggestion, be open to the fact that it could have a lot of potential to help you in the future. It is very early days yet, but grab any opportunity coming your way this month – and, if you put in the research, effort and application you may well find it develops quite nicely, quite quickly.
CAPRICORN:
The Six of Pentacles is a card which generally heralds some sort of gift, or loan, that could really help you out and restore your faith in life and people in general. It could really surprise you where it comes from and, obviously, it would make sense to use it wisely, since these things don’t happen very often. There is also the Ten of Pentacles as the third card in this reading which also represents a lot of success in terms of income, or at least security and stability with regard to your material standing/circumstances. Both these Pentacles cards are really encouraging to get in reading, so this is good news.
The Lovers card and the King of Cups card flanking these two Pentacles cards seem to indicate that, in terms of relationships, or possibly emotion, there may be a bit of a rebound from this success.
The Lovers would indicate a decision, or choice, in terms of a relationship. It could be that this decision/choice might be related to the gift and your source of income. For example you might be offered work, which could bring in more money but which might have a bit of an adverse affect on the relationship front – and that decision might be hard to make. The Lovers card would advise that careful consideration of everyone involved would be as important as the monetary advantage – and this is what you may have to weigh up. It might be that having the ability to earn such money somehow will take its toll on your own emotional state of being, and this needs to be considered too.
The King of Cups seems to endorse this because, whilst this King seems to be sensitive, knowledgeable and empathetic, with regard to love, he doesn’t often truly allow himself to experience the emotions which come with real relationships and this prevents him enjoying his life to the full. Perhaps this card has appeared to say that love and relationships are, in fact, more important than work and money. But that doesn’t mean you can’t have both financial success and happy relationships……….perhaps the two have to be balanced appropriately to be as truly happy and successful as it appears you could be.
AQUARIUS:
The Four of Wands is a congratulatory card in terms of an endeavour you have been working on. Your project is now beginning to show real signs of success and this should delight you! This card indicates that the foundations you have set, and the initial phases you have worked on, in terms of your project are solid, secure and enduring enough to build on – this is significant and you can pat yourself on the back for this amazing achievement. Your project is likely to be established and ready to flourish further, providing you continue to work at it and keep your motivation and application fired up. However, it will be fine to take a little time to breath a sigh of relief and enjoy this moment. Just don’t sit out too long before getting back to it.
The Ace of Cups suggests there is a lot of energy around emotions or a new relationship – this could mean that something may occur which, on an emotional level is uplifting, or maybe even joyous. It may be a person coming into your life that brings these emotions out in you. It could be someone who can bring happiness to you perhaps on a practical, rather than romantic level. The Ace of Cups is a lovely card, though, and suggests that whichever it is you are likely to enjoy some wonderful feelings of happiness, joy and companionship. So enjoy.
The Page of Wands could indicate that a new stage of your endeavours has been reached and you may hear something that inspires to to get moving on it as fast as possible. However, this Page would advise you to not rush into anything in haste, in fact he would suggest that you try and get some advice from someone with similar experience before proceeding with this. You may not want to hear this advice, nor really like it, but it is something which you’ll find worthwhile in the long run – so don’t shut out valuable and constructive information.
The Four of Swords indicates that there has been a level of trauma in your life in the recent past. This will have left you exhausted and drained. So, this card says that November will give you a little window of opportunity to rest and recuperate. You may need to take some time to face some deep-set issues, so that you can begin to heal and grow alongside your successes. This is something which is very important on an emotional level, and will help mind, body and soul in so many ways.
PISCES:
The Emperor can be a great and powerful ally, and when there is one around it is worth tapping their power. It is possible that someone around you might have this kind of influence, in November. As this card sits next to the Eight of Wands, which is a card which represents difficult hurdles being overcome and a time of renewed creativity, it is likely that this person could enable some good things to happen for you. So it might be an idea to be ready to accept help from someone who might be older – a father figure, or a person in authority (maybe a manager/supervisor or mentor?) – who has the sort of experience or influence you need and who is ready to help – at least in the short term.
As mentioned earlier, the Eight of Wands indicates that hurdles and obstacles that have been holding you back have finally been overcome. This means you can move freely forward with your work, projects and endeavours with renewed energy and creativity. This surge of creativity and energy could create lots of work for you, but be hugely productive too.
The King of Swords could be advising you to curb your emotional reactions this coming month and to think carefully and logically about issues that may arise. Sometimes trusting the heart is the way to go, but other times need mental clarity to cut through the issues. The King of Swords, with his logical approach, can sometimes come across as being very acerbic and harsh with his words, so be careful not to go as far as this in your dealings – or you may offend the very people you are trying to please.
In terms of relationships, you might find yourself looking fondly back at a past relationship. You may even feel that you would like to give it another go – this is not impossible, however it will only work if both parties have learned something about the issues that resulted in the break up. It is also worth remembering that over time we can forget the pain that resulted and can be fooled into thinking that things were much better than they really were. Only you can decide if there really is a chance of this relationship working now, and, if you do resume the relationship, you should really take time to see if things really have improved before you totally commit again.
